Why did you first choose to do business with AgDirect?

I teamed up with AgDirect because they understood my goals and fit my financing needs. We started doing a multi-unit rollover program starting out with all new equipment. That was a big benefit to me because we try to get across quite a few acres with fewer number of people.

In the second year of the rollover we had to act pretty fast to get everything done. By the time we got the numbers, some of the rebate programs that the equipment dealerships were offering were getting ready to pass. The nice thing about AgDirect was they got everything processed really fast and we were able to move some things around for collateral on my existing loans to get the multi-unit discount and the financing we needed.

What is it like to work with AgDirect?

AgDirect is my business partner. I don’t worry about making my farm more efficient in regard to financing because I am confident AgDirect is going to help me accomplish my goals. Working with AgDirect makes me feel more comfortable about my equipment purchases.

What is your business philosophy?

Efficiencies are key. Technology helps you to be efficient, but not all technology is going to increase your bottom line. You have to pick and choose what’s going to give you the best return on investment.
