Why did you choose AgDirect for your equipment financing?

About a year ago we purchased a combine. The dealer wanted us to go through their financing, but we put the figures together and AgDirect was a lot more attractive than the dealership financing. Another reason I chose to work with AgDirect was on account of the simplicity of their financing and their application. They’re also very competitive with their interest rates.

What surprised you about the application process?  

The first time I was introduced to AgDirect and started working with them it was really surprising how quickly they were able to respond with a credit decision. With other lenders you never knew how long it was going to take. AgDirect understands agriculture and what a farmer needs. They are more receptive to your ideas of what you want to finance.

What keeps us working with AgDirect today is the friendliness of the people who work there, the Farm Credit loan officers who are available to provide support and the quick response they give you on your loan application.

What do you enjoy most about farming?

What I enjoy most about farming is the freedom. It’s a good life. My wife and I both come from farm families. It’s not a career that’s going to make you a lot of money, but it’s a good place to raise your children and teach them how to be good people.
