What do you enjoy most about your role?

What I enjoy most about my role is the camaraderie and interacting with people. I have a farm background so it’s easy for me to relate to customers. Many of them have become good friends of mine and it’s fun getting to work with them on a daily basis.

What role does AgDirect financing play in your business model? 

AgDirect financing helps us as a dealership as well as our customers. From the competitive rates they offer to the different terms available, there are a lot of different lease and purchase options we can offer our customers and that’s a huge advantage.

How do you approach helping customers determine the best financing options?

We work with customers multiple times throughout the year so we get to know their operations. Every customer has a particular goal in mind, whether it’s a certain payment or interest rate, and leasing has become a larger part of reaching those goals. It all comes down to making decisions based on each customer’s situation.

What surprised you the most about working with AgDirect?

What surprised me the most about working with AgDirect was the working relationships I’ve developed with my territory manager all the way down to the underwriting team. It’s comforting to know that when you call AgDirect you actually get a live person on the phone.

How does AgDirect go above and beyond to help you and your customers complete the financing process?

It’s nice to have a lender that is willing to work with you to explore different avenues and not just your standard purchase options. Whether it’s leasing, extending terms or working with a customer on rates to get to certain payment they’re looking for, AgDirect will work with you in those types of cases, whereas some other lenders may not.
